Junaid is a litigator's litigator - precise, prepared, and most at home on the floor of the court. Educated at the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, his practice is built on original-side litigation, arbitration, proceedings before the Debt Recovery Tribunal, and service matters. He is drawn to the complexity of disputes where process, strategy, and argument must align perfectly to produce a result. Junaid also has vast experience in consumer disputes and advisory.
Having worked extensively in commercial litigation and International Arbitration, Junaid possesses the knowledge of the laws, practicalities and nuances of the business world. Junaid previously worked with DMD Advocates for over three years, where he gained significant experience in managing commercial disputes, devising litigation strategy and managing corporate and private clients end-to-end. He was a prominent part of the firm’s dispute resolution practice, wherein he appeared in various high-stakes commercial matters and cases pertaining to questions of law and constitutional law.
His recent work includes high-profile commercial disputes involving major domestic and multinational parties, a reflection of a practice that regularly operates at the scale where the stakes are consequential, and the margin for error is narrow. His time in the chambers of Senior Advocate Mr Saurabh Kirpal gave him both the exposure and the discipline that define his approach to advocacy.
